After a few days of editing and scoring, we submitted the film (just before deadline) to the “Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations FAN-atic Special” Casting Call contest. It quickly racked up more views than any other entry and was selected as a finalist. (watch it here). Alas, in the end it came in runner-up to a video entry from Saudi Arabia, and Tony headed for the Arabian desert instead of Buffalo snowdrifts.

But the story doesn’t end there…

Thanks to our film, Buffalo captured Bourdain’s imagination…and so, as most of you know by now, he arrived here this weekend to film an episode of his hit TV show No Reservations. Check out the coverage from Buffalo News and Buffalo Rising.
