ALL ACCESS PASS with Nelson Starr | Episode 2

Episode 2 – A Buffalo Love Story

In a Valentine’s Day special, Nelson goes in search of true love; but first he must endure a chocolate bender for the ages, including a tour of legendary Fowler’s chocolate factory, a coma-inducing chocolate megatini at The Chocolate Bar, and a trip into the future and past of chocolatiering at the new Chow Chocolat.

All Access Pass is a monthly series that takes viewers “backstage” to experience Buffalo’s culinary treasures. Directed by filmmaker John Paget, and hosted by Buffalo’s own food fanatic and rock’n’roll raconteur Nelson Starr.

I love the new episode. Great work! How ’bout coming to Rochester to check out our food scene?

  4. Josh Says:

Another home run. What’s amazing is that it is produced by such a small crew. You achieve the same production value and wit that would come from a whole trough of producers and writers for any food and/or doc channel.
    Keep ’em coming.

  5. Denise Says:

Another great episode. Love your work.
Yet another thing Buffalo is known for, Sponge Candy, it’s the best!

  6. Nelson Starr Says:

Thanks Josh, and on this episode, there were literally just the two of us working. Our past collaborators, Ron and Jeff helped get the first episode – mainly the animation and the voice-over style – happening. But this was just John and myself. …a lot of work, I can tell ya! Good thing we have a huge budget – lol!!

  7. Ruth Says:

Great show! I love hearing about and better yet, seeing inside these unique Buffalo establishments. Looking forward to next month’s episode. Now I need a piece of that great sponge candy….

  8. Nelson Starr Says:

Earlier today (around 4:30) there were over 60 views of episode 2. Then there were only 14. Something is amiss with our counter. John knows about this and we are seeking to resolve this. Bizarre!!
